We mapped out 6 separate interactive stations for the Ford Go Electric roadshow.

The experience framed the need for electric vehicles

A touch map of the UK on an interactive table with pucks that took the user on different journeys, highlighting all the Clean Air Zones and the planned restrictions. By selecting one of the physical models of drive chains, users triggered videos demonstrating how different electric technologies work.

Using a touch screen, visitors can select a vehicle and typical journey, to play a video showing the benefits of owning that vehicle. This was followed by a physical charging simulator, showing the charging speeds and likely costs of different at home and out of home systems.

Armed with all the information, users visited a final touch screen station to answer 5 questions about their lifestyle and driving needs to reveal the suggested vehicle and engine type. They then use an object identification table to explore all the features of the vehicle and see what promotions are available, before being invited on a test drive.

The results were phenomenal with a huge increase in requests for test drive requests and visitors leaving feeling inspired about the future of electric vehicles. Complementing the large truck for domestic drivers, Arcstream has also created an interactive trailer for commercial vehicle owners, to inspire them to Go Electric, too.
